Allium Mount Everest stipitatum is out to impress with enormous white heads, up to 16cm in diameter. Cylindrical, grey-green leaves lie at the foot of a stem that towers up to 1.5 metres, proudly holding a glorious sphere of around 50 white, star-shaped flowers, packed in to create a stunning display.
Flowers appear in May and June to add a striking display to your border, after flowering, the display continues as the umbrel skeleton remains to add height and structure throughout the Autumn. Alliums provide interest for the whole season.
Alliums are easy to grow, wildlife friendly and they make excellent cut flowers.
